Is a really fast paced party, killing things fast and if the mob won't die so easily, the stagger bar will rise in a decent pace.

I'm personally enjoying Hope/Light/Fang quite a lot. For boss fights, once you're buffed up, discretion and tri disaster flow really well together for building up the stagger meter. Bully wasn't needed often but it was useful for rebuffing/debuffing during situations where you can't just plow your way through with decimation-> relentless assault once hope throws an elemental endow on you. That's what I was using by the time I got to chapter 13. But there are a couple times when you'll wish you had fang or vanille. I did detour after the first fight with the Proudclad to get Snow sab skills up to Slow, which was very useful and really made the party feel ridiculously strong most of the time. I thought this was a good thing though, I had a lot more fun needing to work our strategies on my own.

Snow rarely dies so you gain a lot from him being your party leader.ĭownside is, if you insist on this party then you can't rely on guides very much. Snow made a great party leader - high HP, super quick RAV casts, and great sentinel skills right out the gate.

Most guides suggest Fang, Lightning, and Hope for your main team but I had a lot of fun with Snow (party leader), Lightning and Hope (Sazh until Hope gets Haste). (Warning: this is not post-game experience, I just beat the main story last night)
